Navitas is an energetic learning and development business founded in 2018 by Kate Jones. Navitas supports companies to focus on leadership development and coaching. It believes people are the most important asset in any company and sees the vital role that leaders play in engaging their teams.
Navitas learns first about the client, their specific needs, then develops bespoke learning interventions to support their requirements.
Learning interventions may be online facilitated learning events (with a human), virtual coaching or face to face training sessions. The development is always aimed at helping individuals or teams to realise what’s possible, both personally and professionally. With a unique ability to connect with a wide spectrum of leaders, they’ve contributed to countless success stories from new starters to seasoned leaders.
Get to know Kate Jones
Kate's experience and a bit about who she is...
Kate has over 17 years of experience in training and developing people and is passionate about facilitating engaging learning interventions. She was a key figure in developing leaders in the rapid growth phase of OVO Energy’s journey expanding from 200-1200 employees in just 5 years. Kate headed up the Talent Development function who were responsible for setting the strategy for development across the OVO Group including developing programmes for leaders and high potentials. Previous to this Kate worked in L&D roles in other sectors spanning the UK.
After having her son, Kate decided to set up her own training consultancy in 2018 working with a variety of businesses. She designs and facilitates learning and development opportunities that give individuals the best possible experience to increase knowledge retention, bring about actual behavioural change and create a positive impact.
Kate Jones and her team have worked with some incredible companies including Vertical Aerospace, Fourth Floor, Gousto, Good Energy, Dentsu and OVO Energy. They have written and delivered bespoke Leadership programmes, mindfulness programmes, coached individuals and trained trainers.

Kate’s talent in coaching is that she creates an atmosphere of trust and empathy which encourages the confidence to speak openly about worries and concerns.
